How data moves through MCP
Your AI client and the AstrologyAPI service it calls have distinct data responsibilities.
Your AI client
The client you connect can hold prompts, conversation history and tool results under its own terms. Its history is separate from AstrologyAPI’s hosted chat product.
The API behind the tool
Our JSON APIs retain which API was called and success/failure status, not submitted user details. Generated PDFs are kept for three months, with earlier deletion on request. These are product rules, not a blanket retention promise for MCP or client history.
Model use & independent copies
AstrologyAPI never trains models on user data. The AI client’s own model-use and retention arrangements apply separately. Deleting an AstrologyAPI record does not delete copies in that client.
Review your chosen AI client’s privacy notice and the handling rules for each tool you enable before sending personal information.
Infrastructure & service providers
We use AWS and Google Cloud infrastructure in India and US regions, Cloudflare for DNS and website hosting, and R2 and S3 storage. These are overall infrastructure details, not exclusive residency commitments for every product, provider or backup. Service-specific arrangements belong in your agreement.
