How we grew
The platform grew one tradition and one format at a time, following what teams were building.
2013
AstrologyAPI launched as a set of calculation endpoints. Send a birth date, time and place. Get an accurate chart back as JSON.
Vedic and Western grew side by side: kundli, matching, panchang, dashas and doshas next to natal charts, transits, progressions, solar returns and synastry. KP, Lal Kitab, numerology, tarot, Chinese astrology, human design and astrocartography followed.
Many teams did not want raw data. They wanted something to hand a customer. White-label PDF reports turned a chart into a branded kundli, natal or compatibility report.
Astro AI Chat answers questions from a person’s real chart, not from guesses. The MCP server lets AI agents and assistants call the same calculations directly.
Today
Palmistry and face reading turn a photo into a structured reading. Vastu reads a floor plan. Same key, same JSON, same team behind it.
